The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the communication techniques that are developed in the triptych of the literary text, the author and his/her audience, as well as the study of communication in the field of books. More specifically, the individual learning objectives are:

  • Understanding the relationship between communication and literature.
  • Familiarisation with concepts related to communication and literature, such as text, writing, speech, discourse, speech, literary work, etc.
  • Identification of different literary genres
  • Recognition of how literary texts capture and
  • Understanding of the role of the author in conveying meaning through

  • Introduction to literary translation.
  • Introduction to the development of literature worldwide and in Greece.
  • Understanding of the new reality in the field of Literature, which
    created by digital media.
  • Study of communication in the field of books, at international and national level.

  • Introduction to creative writing and prose reading.
